hello again

It has been awhile. Life took over. December is so so busy and in January we need to recover from all the Christmas madness.

So, hello February. An easy going month which will be all about our little man’s upcoming birthday. 7! He turns 7! I try not to think too much about that part, makes me feel old, ha!

Anyways, he is determined about the theme for his party and that leaves me scrolling the internet at night looking for the right props and costumes. Did anyone say Super Mario?

What I also love about February is the weather. It’s cold and crispy outside and you can even sometimes smell Spring in the air. I always love the changing of the seasons and above all, I look forward to sunny days where the kids practically live in the garden, spending long nights in the garden with friends, wearing mules instead of boots, the trees turning green again, not waking up when it is still dark, sunkissed skin, peonies, planning our Summer holiday … and so on.
